I bought new glasses for me and the kids back in the summer. I procrastinated, but finally put in the forms for reimbursement for eyeglasses back at the end of November. I even got a tracking number to prove delivery. I finally found the time to call Great West Life yesterday to ask WTF is taking so long to process the claim.

You know what? Tracking numbers are great for proving delivery, but if the company has no record of the claims forms and they've never been processed, you have to do it again ANYWAY. The tracking numbers mean nothing to them. Buddha on a bicycle!

Corporate efficiency at it's finest.

I feel your pain. I had to fight with the insurance company, and then with the State yesterday. It left me with a lingering headache.
